    Credit card settlements can be done yourself. You dont need to pay a “pro”! Just call you credit card company after 3 months of being in default and offer 25-25%

    Experience shows that some people are able to do that but not many. It also depends on what kind of a “pro” you hire. Most of the “services” that don’t have the stick of a bankruptcy lawyer are not what you are looking for.
